Our Story

Love of Friends started in 2006 on Valentine’s Day as a way to celebrate the amazing talents and relationship we have with our friends, be them 1, 2, 3+ degrees removed, here in Pittsburgh.

Planning for this event is a year-round affair and we have a blast planning, crafting, brainstorming, calling countless friends for help, creating googledocs, and eating triscuits.  We can’t wait to celebrate with you on the 14th!

Alexa Belajac

Alexa is the newest member of the LoF Team.  She’s learning a lot, trying new things, working on becoming Zero Waste, blogging, and generally living her life just how she’d like – as much as a mama of 3 (ages 2, 1, and 1) can do that.  Concerning LoF 2012 and everything else, she is ridiculously excited.

Bethany Davidson

Bethany has participated in all of the LoF parties and in 2008 she brought all of her “get it done, and have fun doing it skills officially to LoF. Bethany volunteers for and attends events all around the city, most often at least five events in one night.
